In extremely difficult conditions AUDI continued its impressive winning streak in the 24-Hour Race at Le Mans. Frank Biela (Germany), Emanuele Pirro (Italy) and Marco Werner (Germany) repeated their triumph from last year to clinch Audi’s seventh victory in the French endurance classic.
Dindo Capello (Italy) and Allan McNish (Great Britain) again secured the drivers’ title in the American Le Mans Series for Audi. In addition, Audi and the team of Audi Sport North America won the manufacturers’ and the teams’ classification.
